Dedicated to change.

In a recent study conducted by The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, a study involving 1500 youth found that in 47% of cases the youth had 1 incarcerated caregiver, and in 24% of cases the youth had more than 1 incarcerated caregiver. But these statistics should not inhibit the building and strengthening of familial relationships between youth and their parents. That is why Daughters Beyond Incarceration is working to tear down those barriers and support the strengthening of relationships between daughters and their incarcerated fathers.
